The founder of Synergies Worldwide, Mashooqullah graduated with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University’s Olin Business School in 1998.
Mashooqullah was named as one of the 'Outstanding 50 Asian-Americans in Business' by the Asian American Business Development Centre.

Apart from serving as an adviser and board member for textile fibre, design and food companies in Pakistan, Bangladesh, China and EU, he is also the founding trustee of the Institute of Business Management (IBA) in Karachi.
Washington University is one of the top 20 universities in the United States and honours its alumni who have attained distinction in their careers. “Their careers serve as models for all Washington University students and alumni,” states the school’s website.
